Everyone has burning questions about life. Mysteries we wonder about but don’t always have clear answers for. Think about your biggest questions about existence, purpose, or the world around you.

Prompt Response: My two burning questions are: What is the full build up/timeline to government corruption across the world and What is every single thing the United States has done involving corruption, murders, disappearances, drugs, experiments, and wrongful doings? I'd like to know the answer to the first question so I could understand and look at world history from a different perspective. The second question if answered would bring a new and possibly terrifying truth to U.S history. It would debunk or prove a lot of speculations people have on the U.S government. It might even bring up more questions.

Summary: Today in class we read "I ,Too" by Langston Hughes.

Reflection: The poem was short but it had a big impact on cultural identity. The worksheet afterwards helped me practice identifying certain cultural identities like race, ethnicity, and gender.

Write about a dream that felt real.

You are working on your storymap which is reflection on your past. Thinking about your future, as you graduate high school, what role does the Atlanta metro area play in your life? Do you plan to stay or move away? Explain your reasoning.

Reflect on a time when you noticed someone being treated unfairly or saw a situation that didn’t seem right. How does this experience connect to the emotions or ideas expressed in one or both poems?
